For health reasons we stayed away from the home during the remodeling, returning some evenings to check the project. Tiko would visit us at our temporary home, to clarify our concerns. He was an active and respectful listener. Since a friend had already redesigned our kitchen, Tiko wisely enhanced the drawings, adding thoughtful modifications concerning the use of space, light, and safe navigation. He kept communications open, constantly, including weekends, and responding to e-mails and phone calls almost immediately. He provided firm leadership to the crew, which was essential when glitches appeared. We would rehire Green Group Remodeling, and Tiko Vas, to do any other project we may eventually have.

We received a very detailed quote that was in the same ballpark as the company we eventually selected. Ultimately, we didn't go with them, because we wanted glass railings and the quote specified that we should provide this. It's intimidating to measure for something that could be upwards of $10k (in case we made mistakes!) and was a nebulous cost to us at the time (difficult to budget).
