Project Overview

Green Group Remodeling transformed this dated primary bathroom into a bright, contemporary retreat, replacing its dark finishes, bulky fixtures, and enclosed layout with a sophisticated design centered on comfort, openness, and modern elegance.

The original bathroom featured a gold-framed glass shower enclosure, a dark built-in jetted bathtub, traditional wood cabinetry, and dark countertops. While the room had generous proportions and a beautiful arched window, its existing fixtures and finishes made the space feel visually heavy.

The remodeled bathroom embraces a lighter, more refined aesthetic with a freestanding soaking tub, frameless glass shower, marble-look tile, matte black fixtures, and a statement crystal chandelier. By preserving the room’s distinctive architectural window while updating its surrounding features, the renovation creates a luxurious bathroom that feels both timeless and contemporary.

Project Scope

This primary bathroom renovation included several major design updates:

  • Replacement of the built-in jetted bathtub with a freestanding soaking tub.

  • Replacement of the framed shower enclosure with frameless glass.

  • Installation of marble-look shower wall tile and hexagonal mosaic shower floor tile.

  • Installation of a rainfall showerhead, handheld shower, and matte black fixtures.

  • Addition of a recessed shower niche for convenient storage.

  • Installation of dark hexagonal floor tile.

  • Updated light wood vanity cabinetry with a white countertop and black hardware.

  • Installation of a contemporary crystal chandelier.

The Result

The completed bathroom demonstrates how coordinated design decisions can dramatically change the appearance and experience of an existing space.

Replacing the dark built-in bathtub and enclosed shower with a freestanding tub and frameless glass creates a more open layout. Marble-look tile, dark hexagonal flooring, and matte black fixtures establish a contemporary aesthetic, while natural wood cabinetry introduces warmth.

The preserved arched window and new crystal chandelier provide the finishing touches, creating a bathroom that combines everyday functionality with a luxurious atmosphere.

From the updated shower to the elegant soaking tub, every visible detail contributes to a cohesive, modern design.
